Fall Skin Rescue: Tallow Skincare Workshop
Discover why tallow skincare has become so popular and create two personalized products during this hands-on tallow workshop at Da Bomb! Bath Co. in downtown Thorold, Ontario.
Join us on Thursday, October 22, 2026, for an educational evening dedicated to fall and winter skincare. Led by Da Bomb! Bath Co. founder Marsha Coppola, a certified medical aesthetician, former registered massage therapist and experienced skincare formulator, this workshop combines practical skincare education with hands-on product making.
You will learn how cooler weather can affect the skin barrier, what tallow is, why it is used in skincare and how to incorporate tallow products into your face and body-care routines.

What’s Included
Each participant will create and take home two tallow skincare products:
- One 50 g whipped tallow body balm, customized with your choice of an available fall fragrance or left unscented
- One 25 g unscented tallow facial balm
During the workshop, you will also learn:
- What tallow is and how it is prepared for skincare
- Why tallow is especially popular during the colder months
- How fall and winter weather can affect dry skin
- The difference between facial and body tallow products
- How to apply tallow balm without leaving the skin feeling overly greasy
- How to properly layer tallow with the rest of your skincare routine
No previous skincare-making experience is required. All ingredients, containers, equipment and instruction are included in the workshop fee.
Please note that the products made during this class contain rendered beef tallow. The facial balm will remain unscented and participants will choose whether to add fragrance to their body balm.
