Grinch-Themed Cold-Process Soap-Making Workshop
Learn the traditional art of cold-process soap making while creating your own festive, Grinch-themed soap during this hands-on adult workshop at Da Bomb! Bath Co. in downtown Thorold, Ontario.
Join us on Thursday, November 5, 2026, for a fun and educational holiday soap-making class. You will be guided through the cold-process method while learning how to measure, mix, colour, scent and pour your own batch of handcrafted soap.
Each participant will create a Grinch-inspired holiday soap and leave with the supplies needed to continue the process at home, including their soap mould, recipe and handheld soap cutter.

What’s Included
Each participant will receive:
- Step-by-step cold-process soap-making instruction
- All ingredients and materials required during the workshop
- A complete Grinch-themed batch of soap
- A reusable soap mould to take home
- A handheld soap cutter to take home
- A printed cold-process soap recipe
- Instructions for curing, cutting and caring for the finished soap
No previous soap-making experience is required. All necessary safety equipment will be provided for use during the workshop.
What You’ll Learn
During this beginner-friendly cold-process soap-making class, you will learn:
- How cold-process soap is created
- How to safely work with soap-making ingredients
- How to correctly measure and combine a soap formula
- How to add fragrance and colour
- How to recognize a proper soap trace
- How to pour and decorate a themed soap loaf
- How to unmould, cut and cure your soap at home
Cold-process soap requires several weeks to cure before it can be used. Complete curing instructions and the date your soap will be ready will be provided during the class.
Advance Registration Is Required
Registration closes two weeks before the workshop because ingredients and individual class materials must be prepared in advance. All seats must be booked by Thursday, October 22, 2026.
Seating is limited, and advance registration is required to reserve your place.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received at least two weeks before the event. Workshop fees are non-refundable for cancellations made after October 22, 2026 because ingredients, equipment and individual materials will already have been prepared.
